We are all heading towards a dead end. You might say that the world is vast and there must be other ways out, but that is merely the path you have chosen to acknowledge. Any path you do not choose becomes a dead end. This perspective works both ways, and so we never truly reach a point of convergence. Any seeming intersection is merely self-comfort on a superficial level, a display of broad-mindedness. Our steadfast belief in subjective viewpoints—whether self-realized or imposed—has long foretold that every path leads to a dead end.

LAN Chung-Hsuan's solo exhibition, "dead end," presents various found objects, including weapon parts, war medals, historical instruments, donation certificates, and personal items. These objects are quietly displayed on two platforms, seemingly organizing global sentiments from modern and contemporary history. However, the dubious backgrounds of these items inevitably lead to divergences and misinterpretations shaped by individual experiences.

Russian military mobilization orders, Japanese rifles from World War II, medals from the Korean War and the Gulf War, Soviet Chernobyl disaster medals, documents from charitable organizations, military uniforms from various countries, and letters from U.S. soldiers stationed in West Germany are some of the featured objects. By showcasing these contentious items, the exhibition aims to provoke discussions that ultimately lead to the realization of a "dead end" without consensus.

我們都正前往末路。你也許會説世界如此遼闊，一定會有其他的出路，但那僅只是你認同的路，而你沒有選擇的路都將成為末路。這個觀點反之亦然，所以我們永遠達不到真正的交點，看似有所交會的部分都只是某個視覺平面上的自我安慰與心胸寬闊。我們所堅信的主觀論點－無論是自悟或被迫－早已預示了每一條路都是末路。

藍仲軒個展《末路》展示了許多現成物件，包括武器零件、戰爭勳章、歷史器具、捐款證明以及私人用品。這些物件以安靜的方式展陳於兩個平台之上，看似梳理著現代史與當代史中的全球共感。然而這些物件所夾帶的存疑背景，勢必會因人們自身的生長經驗而產生分歧與誤讀。

​俄軍動員令、二戰時期的日本步槍、韓戰與波斯灣戰爭勳章、蘇聯車諾比核災勳章、慈善組織文件、各國軍服、駐西德的美軍家書等，展覽以這些爭議物件來刺激評論的發生，進而達成沒有共識的「末路」。
