Perpetuity’s Itinerants rephotographs the portraits of eighteen astronauts who have directly perished during space missions in human history (as of 2025), including four Soviet cosmonauts from four missions and fourteen American astronauts.

The artist projects these portraits onto titanium surfaces—materials commonly used in spacecraft engineering. The reflective and textured quality of the metal renders the astronauts’ faces blurred and chaotic, as if they were flickering shadows traversing across dimensions. Yet, a single beam of light cuts across the image like a launch trajectory piercing the dark, symbolizing how their bodies may have vanished, but their journeys continue through space—indelible lights in the chronicle of human exploration.

From the early romance of stargazing to the realized technologies of space travel, Perpetuity’s Itinerants contemplates humanity’s inexhaustible desire and imagination for the sky, outer space, and the universe itself.

〈願你續航〉翻拍了十八位人類歷史上因太空任務而直接殉職（截至2025年）的太空人肖像，其中包括來自四趟任務的四位蘇聯太空人及十四位美國太空人。

藝術家將肖像投影在太空飛行器常用的鈦金屬表面，太空人的面貌因金屬表面的反光與紋理而顯得模糊雜亂，彷彿穿梭於不同維度的幽影。然而，一道貫穿畫面的光線，宛如發射軌跡般從黑暗中掠過。他們的身軀雖已消逝，卻仍持續在宇宙中航行，成為人類太空探索歷史中不可抹去的光點。
